I have an original folder on tape: \FOLDERXXX\ and all his objects , shown
by DSPTAP command to be just \FOLDERXXX\
But the original path as shown on Operational Navigator, was:
\Root\Home\FOLDERXXX\
獨ich command should I have to issue to restore it back?
RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') OBJ(('/Root/Home/FOLDERXXX/*'))
or
RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') OBJ(('/Home/FOLDERXXX/*'))
or
RST DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') OBJ(('/FOLDERXXX/*'))
It is a bit confussing to me.
Thanks in advance.
Centrino, is this a QDLS folder??
i would go with the 2nd one you listed.

Well, here's an example I keep handy to remind me of the syntax:
RST DEV('QSYS.LIB/T1.DEVD')
OBJ(('/QIBM/ProdData/CA400*' *INCLUDE '/Apps/Install/CA400_V5R3'))
SUBTREE(*ALL)
ALWOBJDIF(*ALL)
This was to restore a previous version of iSeries Access from tape to a different folder
(notice the SUBTREE parameter to also restore the sub folders of CA400).
So, for you I might try:
RST DEV('QSYS.LIB/T1.DEVD')
OBJ(('/Home/FOLDERXXX*'))
SUBTREE(*ALL)
ALWOBJDIF(*ALL)
Or, if FOLDERXXX already exists:
RST DEV('QSYS.LIB/T1.DEVD')
OBJ(('/Home/FOLDERXXX*' *INCLUDE '/Temp/FOLDERXXX'))
SUBTREE(*ALL)
ALWOBJDIF(*ALL)
