IBIS is now owned by a company called Financial Objects which has a web
site although I can't rember the URL. In saying that there isn't a lot of
information about the product on this site. What information do you need?

Rik,

The URL for Financial Objects is www.finobj.com

- IBIS is a core banking package that is used in around 200 sites.
Financial Objects has recently announced Release 7 of the package
which will be Y2K compliant (and more importantly for those of us in Europe)
EMU compliant.

In the past a lot of banks had not kept up with IBIS releases and had their
own customised versions, now almost all of them will take R7 as the only
realistic way to resolve their EMU and Y2K issues.

I understand that Financial Objects will provide future enhancements and new
functionality to the package through their "Active Bank" product. This is an
NT based "internet enabled" solution which has been integrated with the IBIS
database and processes on AS/400. They take the realistic view that the
"legacy" code on the AS/400 is irreplacable for the foreseeable future.

Please let me know if you need any further help.
Regards, Tim Clark

More specifics? It's old and big, and badly documented...
