Does anyone have International subscription details for
News 3x/400 or is there a U.K. edition?

Thanks

Chris.

The US mag's called NEWS/400 these days. There is a UK offshoot - not
strictly a UK version, as the editorial is sourced separately - called
NEWS/400.UK. I'm its editor.

NEWS/400.UK was launched last year and has been coming out bimonthly
since January. UK subscribers to NEWS/400 automatically receive
NEWS/400.UK. NEWS/400.UK is also sent out to a selected number of AS/400
users in the UK.

To find out about subscribing to the excellent US mag, or for a sample
copy of NEWS/400.UK, write to the Editorial Assistant, Carole Carr, at
the above address.

We're always interested in ideas for editorial in NEWS/400.UK; if there's
anything that you think we ought to be covering, let me know, either at
the above address or by email. We're particularly interested in apps that
take the 400 into new areas - groupware, the Internet, OLAP...

Thanks for tolerating this blatant plug!

Send email to new...@dircon.co.uk for the magazine NEWS/400 (US-based
and available on subscription).

For its UK sister-publication NEWS/400.UK (supplied free to NEWS/400
subscribers and a selected number of AS/400 sites) email
new...@dircon.co.uk.

The address details are correct in both cases; the phone and fax numbers
for NEWS/400.UK are as given below.

Apologies to everyone who read my previous posting!

OK, so I've been off the 400 awhile!

Please refresh my memory as I am trying to assist someone -

what is the command to list/display the installed Licensed Programs?
Isn't it DSPLICPGM ??

E-mail and/or post responses, please.

Thx.

a general way to find a command:

get to a blank command line
hit cmd4
option 2(verbs)
browse down to the display and take that option
browse thru the display commands til something looks right,

this is the toughest thing to teach people on 38 or 400; it's so easy
it's hard to remember.
