AFP resources

We want to print AFPDS files from our iSeries (AS/400) to an OCE
prisma server. The OCE prisma server supports (so it has been told)
AFPDS. But all AFP resources must be on the OCE prisma server.

But is there a way to download the AFP resources

AFP fonts, Images and Graphics, Overlays, Bar codes and Page
Definitions and Form Definitions

for use on a non iSeries system?

Is it possible? Or has somebody experience with printing AFPDS to an
OCE prisma server?

We also use Oce printers with a Prisma server,
connected to a system i (iSeries, AS/400, ...) .
I don't have the details at hand right now, but
the general procedure is as follows:
1. On the system i we have a library, provided by Oce,
called OCETOOLS. This library contains, among other
things, a command to convert AFP-resources to
stream files in the IFS (in QDLS, if I remember correctly).
2. FTP the streamfiles to the prisma server. The Oce
engineer should be able to tell you the exact location
where to put the files on the prisma server.

When I'm back in the office on monday I could
find out the exact details, if you like.
