I can see the their printers thru Client Access Ops Navigator
on their sys.
But only my printers show on mine.
I'm getting 30 new people that need access to two
other 400s, all thru RMTOUTQs. If you find a way I
would appreciate it if you would let me know how.

- will list both local and remote writers, but unfortunately only if they
are active.
You need to keep track of which outq's you have configured as remote writers
and manually issue the STRRMTWTR command when one is not listed in the
WRKWTR *ALL list. As an alternative, you could write a WRKWTR act-alike that
includes all outq's set up as remote writers, or maybe there is a QUSRTOOL
or shareware/freeware version of such a tool.
I usually create a "dummy" device with the same name as the remote outq, so
that users can enter the name as a device rather than having to specify the
output queue when redirecting their output. If you choose to do this, be
aware that it can be misleading to operators. The dummy device will show up
in WRKWTR WTR(*PRT) with status END. Attempting to start the writer based on
the listed print device will NOT start the remote writer.

You need a C compiler to create the tool. See member TSPLPRDI in file QATTINFO
in library QUSRTOOL for information on use and compiling (PS make sure you read
TSPLPRDI CAREFULLY). If you do not have a C compiler, I can send you an AS/400
save file containing the source AND the compiled program objects.
