Using iSeries Navigator V5R4M0 on my laptop to get an execution plan
from a SQL Script (under the "Run and Explain" option), I get the
diagram of the execution plan. That's fine.
My coworker does the same on his laptop. And he gets a message stating
that the diagram for the request cannot be displayed since no
statistical data has been collected for the request (it's an
approximate translation since the message he gets is in French).
Suspecting an authority problem, I logged with my user profile on his
laptop and ran the SQL statement under the "Run and Explain" option.
Same error message is displayed.
Looks like there is a difference in the configuration in our 2 iSeries
Navigator. We compared the most obvious parameters, and they're all
the same. Since it does not look like an authority problem, what
should we do in order to get his iSeries Navigator to display the
execution plan?
Thanks
Jack
Have you installed latest service pack (for Navigator)?

Is that the same query against the same files in the same libraries?
And what about statistics collecting on your iSeries/i5?!
