Goodmorning to all,
we have a litte-big problem on the network of my company...I describe
the scenario...

- 200 pc's with emulation Client Access V4R4 installed
- network completely switched with 3COM (models 4400SE and 3300
series)
- 4 server IBM /AS400 I series 810

Random when we work on server the session ended (in one pc but not in
other, random). We try to sniff the network (putting a hub in the
middle) but in the logs when the session ended there isn't any packets
that can stop the traffic....
Is a switch problem or AS400 in this scenario? (i think the second but
I don't know where)....

Thank you in advance for your help....

Could be the inactivity timer kicking in on the 400. Do you still
have a signon screen when your booted out.

I had the very same problem. Upgrading the V4R4 client access program
on the client PC fixed the problem.

If you can't get V5 installed, at least make sure they have the
lastest service packs. I think it was addressed in one of them.

No, when boot out me the windows is still black...like I unplug the
cable on the NIC....(the strange is that 2 pc work at the same time
one random is "logged out" and one still work)...
