We are on V5R4M0 .... We can issue a DSPPFM for such file, but not able to
SAVOBJ.
I would try to RCLSTG, but I am afraid that the object would be destroyed
during the process..
Is there any way to rebuild it ? just in case RCLSTG would not rapair it?
I hope I would not need to reinstall Electronic Service Agent.
It seems that such a file contains a copy of system values, so it should
be updated somehow when a system value is changed or when the system reports
some problem or something to IBM.
Any clue?
Thanks in advance.
that file contains
Machinetype
Serial
Lpar
Seqnbr
Length
Can you read this file at all?
This is not a supported procudure but works for me:
1. go service
2. record setting in option 1
3. end all service agent jobs
4. clrlib QSRVAGT
5. go service
6. option 1 to set settings like recorded in step 2

Ad,
What's The Use Of Getting Sober
(When You're Gonna Get Drunk Again)
The IBM unswer was simmilar to yours, but instead of having to clear the
library I had just to delete the damaged objet. It will be re-created when
needed by the system (theoretically).
I'll wait and see ...

It seems that the object contains proprietary data about each particular
system and it is recreated when needed by service agent.
IBM told us just to delete it, service Agent will re-create it as needed.
