Random number in RPG

I search to retrieve a random number in a RPG or CL program but i don't find
any command to do that.

Have you a idea ?

Check out the CEERAN0 API. If you don't know how to do that, start at
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com.

If you do not like the FLOAT result, then you can also use the C function rand()
and seed() instead. rand() returns an integer between 0 and 32767. You may
download an example from my freeware page or send me an e-mail.
