Lotus Domino on AS400

Hi,
I'm trying to run Lotus Domino V4.6.2 on a model 170.
Do i have to configure the SMTP on the AS400 (cfgtcp) ?
If yes, is there anything to watch out for when having an
firewall on the lan (not on the IPCS).
The Domino Server is up and running but i can't send an
recieve mail.

Make sure you check this parameters. The Lotus Notes Server SMTP and Mail
routing via firewall parameter does not work in an AS/400 environment. Of
course the usual Hosts and DNS parameters must correspond.

Yes, Domino uses the AS400 smtp.
As for the firewall .... you will have to allow the AS400 ip address to go
out on port 25 on the firewall.
