Awhile back I saw a message about a product called "Baby 400" which
was an AS/400 emulator package for the PC. IF anyone knows where I can
get some info on this product, or any similar product that has AS/400
developmet tools on a standalone PC please e-mail me..

Actually, it's a System/36 emulation package. We were running a back-office
system on it for a while and I lost half of my hair in the progress. I think
the comapny that did it is (was) called California Software or something like
that. The thing runs under OS/2, so you get the pain of running that pile of
crap as well...

California Software makes Baby 400.
Lattice also has a RPG compiler for the PC.

I don't have the address or Phone number handy but you might try the WEB search
engines and I know that California has an 800 number so try 800-555-1212.

The current product runs on OS/2 on Windows NT. Califonria
Software have recently put up a web site at http://www.calsw.com with
details of Baby/400 (and Baby/36 ?)
