We have an IBM printer Type 5262-001 that we have hooked up to our AS/400
via a sys 36 terminal that is connect to our as/400. The terminal is being
replaced with a PC with Client Access on it. Is there anyway we can hook
this printer up to the PC for printing?

Does anyone know of a good replacement printer to use instead. Maybe a
Genicom or something like that?

Would you prefer to keep you actual printer? I got the solution for you. Our
company manufacturers and sells a conversion box called the HPS1. You can
connect via a parallel or serial port. E-mail or call for more details...

If this attaches to the parallel port, you can run the same printer from a
printer session via Client Access on the PC.
Although results may vary, based on the print programs....

If I remember right a 5262 is a twinax printer.

Am I not right?
