jack,
I assume you have an AFP printer with AFP(*YES) set on the devd.

If you have Client Access installed on the PC you should have selected the
Printer Drivers option on the Setup when you installed CA/400. If so you can
add a new printer Start, Settings, Printers. Select a Network Printer, the
AS/400 the printer is connected to. Select IBM as the Manufacturer, under
the printers you will see IBM AFP nnnn where nnnn is the printer type.
Select the type of printer you have and thats it. Whenever you go in to the
print option of any Windows app you will be able to select the IBM AFP nnnn
as a device.

If you do not see any IBM AFP nnnn printers under IBM then you don't have
the printer drivers installed. Go to CA/400 folder, Accessories, Selective
Setup and you can select and install the AFP print drivers.

It works well but be aware that many of the older IBM AFP printers have only
340 or 300 dpi so the quality isn't as good as some of the newer printers.

I havew a customer that uses Word97 to run a Mail Merge to 6,000 customers
each month which they print to their AS/400 attached IBM AFP 3160. It works
really well.
