On ethernet:

Ethernet line and controller are active;
device in "activated"
Everytime I try to start the TCP/IP interface I configurated on Ethernet
Line, I get the following message:

" INTERFACE 11.0.0.4 NOT STARTED. IP FILTER RULE FAILURE"

Can anybody help?
Thanks in advance,
Rafael

Have you set AUTOSTART(*YES) on your interface definition?

Hi Rafael,
Did you activate a IP Filter?. You can check this out via OpsNav. If
you did maybe you made a error in the rules. There is a green screen
command to deactivate the IP Filter. Take a look in TCP/IP adm guide.

For the command line:

===> RMVTCPTBL TBL(*IPFTR)

This would remove any IP filter table that's currently in place. It's a
fail-safe kind of command in case you lock out OpsNav with a faulty
filter. Very handy (from experience).
