Has anyone added new disk units to their system? I just had 6 more drives
added to my AS/400 V4R4 and am wondering how tough the configuration will be
to add 2 of them to an existing ASP and the other 4 to a new ASP with RAID 5
?

Appreciate the help.

Hey Joe...
raid and asp's is no problem... raid protected disks can be in
different asp's
depending on your config you have to add them to an existing raid array
first or create a new array... adding to an existing array can be done
(depending on machine type !)without powering down...even putting the
drives in can e done while you work... when adding it to asp, simply
type 1 for system asp and 2 for new user asp.
