On the sndptford hit option f-4key you there should be a value to resend
ptf's that were previously sent.

You can only use *SERVICE whenever PTF's are received from the service
provider (IBM) by your system. In that case the PTF are sent to the
user QSRVBAS and received automatically (status SAVEFILE ONLY).
If you have copied or restored the savefiles in QGPL you must use the
*SAVF option instead of *SERVICE.
Usually the PTF savefile has the same name as the PTF preceeded by the
letter Q, fill in this name and you will not have any problem loading
your PTF.

If You download PTF by ECS. Use SNDPTFORD command.
After this You must use LODPTF and load PTF from save file:

LODPTF LICPGM(5716999) DEV(*SAVF) RLS(V3R7M0) SAVF(QMF14906)

after that You must use APYPTF command .
That's all

I know what you want. you want to fake the 400 out and do an option 8
install of the ptf's so you don't have to load manually with
*savf.....

Unfortunatly I don't know the trick either, but I would start looking
into remote support... with that you have a method to send the ptf's
to another system and apply them.

Just a thought.
