If you need to clear it during a job just use CLRLIB LIB(QTEMP)

If you are asking what happens at end of job do not worry it is
deleted by the system automatically. That is what QTEMP is all about.

Marsias,

Just to expand a little on Mike's post,

Each Job gets it's own idependant QTEMP and this library is
automatically deleted when that job ends, so in practise this means,
each time a user logs on (even with the same User and / or from the
same workstation) the get a new job instance and so a new and
idependant version of QTEMP. In this case QTEMP is generally cleared
at signoff.

Also, when an interactive job submits a job to batch (eg SBMJOB) then
this batch job get it's own independant QTEMP that is maintained until
the job ends (normally or abnormally) when the batch job ends, QTEMP
is deleted.

This makes it ideal for work files but a pain when you are debugging
batch code, but I'll leave service jobs to another thread.

Hope that clarifies it a little, Brad.
