Any help wil be appreciated.
When I try to connect to AS/400 R5V2 via TCP/IP I get CWBSY1008 - rc=408.
I have done all the things told in the helptext and installed a CUMPTF that
works on
a similar AS/400.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Error Description
Client Access connections may fail with CWBSY1000 or
CWBLM0006. These messages can indicate many different problems. If in the
course of normal problem determination, the CPIAD07 rc=5 is found in a
daemon joblog, the prestart job for that daemon should be investigated. If
the prestart job for the daemon is running normally, the Host Server User
Index should be investigated.
For information on the names of the daemon and prestart jobs, see SC41-5740.
To investigate the User Index:
DMPOBJ OBJ(QUSRSYS/QYSMSVRE) OBJTYPE(*USRIDX)
Display the splf and look at the Object Attributes.
If the object is damaged, delete it.
The User Index will be created automatically with the next client request.
If modifications have been made to the User Index, you may wish to restore
this from backup immediately after deleting, instead of letting a new User
Index automatically create.
Once the User Index is created and functional, save the object to tape or a
SAVF. This will not only ease recovery from the situation, may also
alleviate the probability of it reoccuring.
For example:
CRTSAVF FILE(QGPL/SAVUI) TEXT('quick savf') SAVOBJ OBJ(QYSMSVRE)
LIB(QUSRSYS) DEV(*SAVF)OBJTYPE(*USRIDX) SAVF(QGPL/SAVUI)
MSGCPIAD07 RC5 may also be seen when QYSMSVRE has been modified so that one
of the Client Access Servers runs in a user defined subsystem and that
subsystem has not been started.
so what I did is just deleting the object qsysmsvre, and after the first
ateempt to connect via ops navigator it was automatically rebuild and
everything was fine..
Greetings

deleting QUSRSYS/QYSMSVRE helped.
I saved it first to make sure I could reestablish, but that wasn't
nessasary.
Until now I have spend about 10 hours to get it work, reading manuals,
looking for the topic
on the internet and opgrading the OS.
