I'm afraid I didn't quite understand the problem. Do you want to
transfer the savf to another machine via ftp, or is just another
library on the same machine ?

This isn't possible... however it might be different on current releases.
A possible way would be to create an empty SAVF, and FTP to localhost and
copy the information that way.

Try the 'CPYLIB' command . . .

One way that works:
Do a SAVOBJ or SAVLIB, specifying SAVFDTA(*YES), then restore the save file.
You can even save the save file to another save file on the system to do
this, or use tape if don't have the space for another copy.
I'm surprised CRTDUPOBJ didn't work. I've never done that, but it seems a
bit counter-intuitive that it doesn't copy the data when you specify
DATA(*YES). Oh, well...
