I'm afraid I didn't quite understand the problem. Do you want to
transfer the savf to another machine via ftp, or is just another
library on the same machine ?

HI Vitor,

This isn't possible... however it might be different on current releases.

A possible way would be to create an empty SAVF, and FTP to localhost and
copy the information that way.

Regards,
Paul

I want to copy all obj on that library to a new library on same
machine.
And the *savf file should be copied with all "saved" obj.
The *savf was created using the SAVDLO verb

One way that works:

Do a SAVOBJ or SAVLIB, specifying SAVFDTA(*YES), then restore the save file.
You can even save the save file to another save file on the system to do
this, or use tape if don't have the space for another copy.

I'm surprised CRTDUPOBJ didn't work. I've never done that, but it seems a
bit counter-intuitive that it doesn't copy the data when you specify
DATA(*YES). Oh, well...

CRTDUPOBJ of a save file with DATA(*YES) does not bring the content of the
save file on V3R2M0. It does work on V4R1M0 or later. V3R6M0, V3R7M0 don't
know. I would assume that the AS/400 that Vitor is trying to do it on is
V3R2M0. For V3R2M0 restore from the original save file then save to the
duplicate save file.
