Can someone point me in the direction of where to find a good
explanation of what the status of "TIMA" means that is found on the
WRKACTJOB screen under the status column? Thanks

All well and good, but what does the explanation actually mean? (Not
that I have ever seen a job in this state...)

TIMA means that the job becomes active after TIMW. The TIM stands for
TIMer. E.g. if you have a DSTQ instatus Rt-Wait the associated SNADS job
has status TIMW. At the moment the retry occurs, the job will go into
TIMA very briefly. You don't normally see a job in TIMA, because it is
such a brief period. I have seen it a couple of times though.
