Hi!
Im trying to do my own reports from file QAEZDISK...
When looking at a *SYS report (from PRTSYSINF) there is a specification that says "Other IBM libraries" with size. Wish I knew how that is calculated. Does anyone know how to select these records only from QAEZDISK. It can not be as simple as selecting all Q* libraries except QSYS, QGPL and QUSRSYS I guess...
thanks
Bengt

Presumably that category "Other IBM libraries" should be every
library other than what has been categorized in the "User Libraries" and
"QSYS" categories shown prior. FWiW: The help text for the SAVLIB
command gives some library names that begin with the letter Q that are
considered "User" libraries and some library names that do not begin
with the letter Q that are considered to *not* be "User" libraries; also
some additional "Notes" discussing some libraries. The library name
QSYS2 [and its iASP variant] is, like QGPL and QUSRSYS, a
quasi-system\quasi-user library, but it is saved as part of *ALLUSR;
these three libraries are also mentioned in a "Note" about /where/ they
are saved.

Thanks! Yes, I was looking at the SAVLIB help also but there are so many "exceptions" that it is hard to come up with a good "sql select". Some users also create libraries beginning with Q to make it even more complicated. But, as you say, it is every library other than previously categorized. So if I can sum up one of them I will get the other one for free!
