My workaround was to split it into three, and that worked okay, if
inconveniently. The question: is there a limit to file size with
Kermit?

105K for storage plus 105K for the data that kermit is going to transfer
(yes the object is duplicated) plus a few bits here and there, you are
running pretty close to 230K

Empty 49 has 240K free, so nothing else fits in
Just to be sure I suggest rebooting with backspace held down
to DETACH all libs and then only ATTACH BZ lib if needed.
I would also loose LASTARG and Last Stack using [MODE] key
and checking the proper boxes
Naturally all other VARS needs to be put on the Flash or send to PC
[VPN]

I guess sending large files in sections is the only workaround.
