Turn on 8-line mode with THL and everything appears fine provided you
don't have algebraics on the stack. As soon as an algebraic appears,
my calculator seems to hang for some algebraic objects, or the screen
appears messed up for others. When it appears messed up, it's as if
the agrob routine is drawing too far below where it is supposed to
draw.

For something that does not hang the HP48, try:
2: 'X'
1: 2

and press [^] and observe the screen. Then do [3] [ENTER] and keeping
DUP'ing until eventually the 'X^2' comes into view (I have small
algebraics turned on). I don't recommend any large algebraics -- my
suspicion is that this may possible cause memory corruption due to
grobs being banged into the wrong memory locations.

8-line mode in SpeedUI 9.07 is still in ALPHA-stage,
and therefore not mentionned in the docs.

So far it's not recomended to toggle to the 8-line mode.

The 9.08 version will have the button disabled;-)

I'm currently preparing a new display engine which will
be able to handle this feature correctly.
