All this time, I've been trying to put together the right adapters so I
can use the cable for both. I have a 9-pin gender changer, 9-pin null
modem adapter, and a 9-pin to DB-8 (Mac) adapter, but I've never gotten
any combination of this to work for transferring stuff to or from the HP48
to my Mac. So, anyone out there got a Mac cable or cable kit (I think I
still have the box to mine, even) they want to trade with me? It's just a
pain for me to have to find a PC every time I want to transfer
something...

: When I got my HP48G over two years ago, I had that coupon for a free HP
: connection kit, which I sent in with a little note saying "Mac version,
: please" but they sent me the PC one anyway.

Nathan,
As I read your note, I was in the midst of building a Mac-HP48 cable for
my own machine. If you can't find one, I'd be happy to make up another
for $10, including postage.
