This may seem like a stupid question, but when I use the Pi function on
calculator to to say 2*Pi, the calculator replies back with '2*Pi' and I
cannot evaluate this. Does anyone know how to make Pi equal to 3.14...

Thanks.

Hit the ->NUM button (blue shifted EVAL). If you always want a number
try setting flags -2 or -3 (the symbolic constants and numeric results
flags). They each have a slightly different action but will accomplish
what you want. I think -2 is the best choice.

Setting and clearing of flags is done using the SF and CF command.

After you had get the '2*pi' you have to:

- Press the purple arrow (which is pointing to left)
- Press EVAL

That's all

Or you could just turn off sybolic mode. That will make Pi=3.14159...

Or, if you don't want to push extra keys all the time, and you like symbolic
mode for other things, just assign 3.14... to the PI key.

<< 3.14159265359 >> 94.2 ASN

This works great for me.
