Hello everybody:
Please I want to integrate X, sin(X) or any expression with my new
calculator but I am getting always, but always the same error message
Error: Undefined Name

I have tried 3 months using DERVX(X) for example, but I cannot
integrate. I spent my money with this calculator and I don't know how
to get just a basic integration. Also where is the old library of small
programs that the old hp 48 has built-it, like Mohr's circle or so...?

RPN:
'x'
'ENTER'
'SIN'
'INTVX'
'ENTER'

Gene: Be sure to look through the examples in the HP supplied free
learning modules on the web:

http://www.hp.com/calculators/graphing/49gplus/technical.html

There are modules about how to do symbolic differentiation and
integration as well as numeric. There are modules about solving
differential equations and lots more.

Pull these down and spend some time with them. You'll be glad you did
(I think!)

You have a flag set that makes the calculator try and give a number for
each variable. There most liekyl is no stored X, so it errors. I am
away from home and don't have the list right here, nut I think that is
your problem.

Correct; it's flag -3. Type -3 CF and you won't get the error. Or, you can
un-check "Numeric" in the MODE CAS screen.

That toggles approx/exact mode, which isn't the same thing as
numeric/symbolic.
