hello.

i just bought a new HP 49g+.

my question is how can i convert a decimal number to fraction using the
calculator commands.

example:
the decimal number: 0.25
will be displayed as a fraction like this: 1
---
4

The ->Q command and the ->Qpi command, IIRC, work on all the 48/49
series. The latter will produce rational muptiples of pi if such will
have smaller denominators than straight fractions.

On the 49 and 49+, ->Q sets exact mode, as does its equivalent XQ, in
addition to converting a decimal to its integer or fraction form, but
for some reason ->Qpi does not affect the exact/approximate mode setting.
