While browsing my favorites list, looking for dead links to clean out, I
saw the www.openmpe.org link and decided to take a peek at the site, out
of curiosity, before deleting it.

No Meeting Minute updates since Nov. 2008 and the only thing on the
first homepage I brought up was the last election.

Has OpenMPE gone gently into that good night?

No, OpenMPE is very much still in the daylight, thank you for inquiring.
We've just concluded two very, very important conference calls last week and
the week before with Hewlett-Packard.

I assure you the Board of OpenMPE is working very diligently on the behalf
of the MPE/iX user community. The meeting minutes not being updated is a
function of the Secretary being busy with gainful employment tasks, and is
not reflective on the actual status of meetings.

That's great news Matthew. We appreciate the dedication and efforts of
the Board!
