iPaq, Mac Windows problems

I post this question and hope that there will be anyone who can help me
with my sync problems.
I want to sync my calendar, contacts, tasks and notes between a Windows
XP and a Mac via an HP iPaq Handheld as a bridge. Here are the facts
HP Laptop, Windows XP, Outlook 2003, ActiveSync
MacBook, Mac OS 10.4.10, Entourage 11.3.6
Mark/Space Missing Sync for Windows Mobile 4.0
iPaq hx2790b (Windows Mobile/CE 5.0, Bluetooth 1.7.1.1416)
What has happend so far:
I can hardly connect my iPaq with the Mac via Bluetooth. If there is a
connection, it takes ages to sync (last time I stopped synchronising
after 1,5 hours). I don't loose any data but the there's also no
synchronisation on the Mac.
I reconnect the iPaq several times with the Mac. I bulit a new Entourage
identity. I rebooted the systems (iPaq, Mac) several times.
I have tried most hints that are recommended on the Mark/Space homepage.
No chance.
I don't have any problems to connect to the Windows system.
I hope these information can give you a clue of my investigations for a
solution. And I hope that they are enough that hopefully someone can
help me. I'd be really thankful, because it's anoying to spend hours on
trying instead on doing sth. useful.
