Hi Experts,

the creation of an Ignite recovery archive from a remote host fails during
the "Prepare Archive Config File" phase. The archive itself is built
successfully. The recovery.log file says:

It is not the first time I create a recovery archive this way, but it is the
first time these errors occur.

Who can advise something?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Is /var full?

No, there are more than 300 MB available in /var.
But I made another test: I included only the vg00 into the archive. (I added
two volume groups before: vg00 and ardvg). That worked well. So it seems to
me like something is wrong with the ardvg ?

This is from our FAQ. Does it address your situation?

Q: Why does archive_impact fail during make_net_recovery

A: A patch was issued for ksh(1M) which in turn causes corrupt parameter
processing. The corruption occurs when archive_impact is run as a part
of a make_net_recovery. The patch is: PHCO_21185.

Work around:
PHCO_21185 has been superseded by PHCO_22020. Please remove PHCO_21185
and install PHCO_22020.

What are you typing on the command line when you start the make_recovery?

Hi Bruce,

thank you very much for your hint. I removed / installed the patches. Now
everything under the sun is in tune ...
