Could any one out there help me with the DIP switch settings for a
HEWLETT PACKARD 7475A PLOTTER.
Ideally I would like to set it for 8, N, 1. With A4 paper, 9600 Baud.
Are these valid settings? Will they work as is with AUTOCAD 11?
If not, does any one out there know the correct ones?
If you could fill in the settings below, I'll be well chuffed!
Thanks a bundle.
Steve Maxted.
SWITCH OFF ON LABEL
PARITY | S2
| S1
D Y
MET US
A4 A3
| B4
| B3
BAUD | B2
| B1
Sounds reasonable to me.
>
SWITCH OFF ON LABEL
(1) (0)
--------------------------
PARITY don't-care S2 (1 is odd, 0 is even)
X S1 (no parity)
D X Y (direct connection, not "eavesdrop")
MET X US (metric)
A4 X A3 (A4)
| X B4
| X B3
BAUD | X B2 (9600, 1 stop bit)
| X B1
should work. Note that "ON" is "0". Good luck.
