A frequenct scenario is that I have to call someone about somthing,
either at a certain time and date, or before/after a certain date. Since
there is currently no way to connect the address and date books, I
change
the category of all the numbers I have to call to "call", a
category I have added. I then select to display anly the "call" category
addresses,
and see who I have to call. I also attach a note to the address about
the subject
of the call.
A better way would have been to have a check box(s) in the address book,
that would enable me to link the address to the to do list or the
address book.
Checking the "call" check box will show the address in the TO DO list.
Once in that application, a date can be added. Marking the item in the
to do as
done will severe the link to the address book.
Having date and time fields in the address book would have been another
way of
linking the applications. Filling these fields will cause an item to
apear in the
date book with something like: Call Steve Jones at 524-8862.
I would have also liked to link a memo (from the memo book) to an
address,
instead of a note, but this seems less important (though nice to have).
So, PILOT developers - what do you think? How about third party
developers? Can they hack
the basic pilot applications to provide the link anong them, or is it
all in ROM?

does this little sweet thing also -call- the number?
either by saying beep-beep like the Psion 3a
or by actually calling (also being a cell phone) like Nokia 9000
..anyway - a wish of mine
