I have an Alpha Server 1200 with two 5/533 cpu's, 2 GB main memory
running VMS 8.3, some patches installed but not the latest.
The system has 8 SCSI channels. PKA0 is the onboard SCSI channel, PKB0
is a Qlogic 1020 and the other six are on three KZPCM-DA controllers.
The Qlogic 1020 is connected to a BA356 with a BA-35x-MH module. The
disks in the SBB's are all replaced with Seagate ST34371W drives.
The system boots alright, though a little slowly without the disks on
the Qlogic 1020 present. PKB0 logs 7 errors during the system startup,
and no errors on the disks themselves. The disks perform well.
The question is where the errors come from. I tried analys/err/elv
dump /incl=device but that command didn't give any output.
