I wanted the mouse but I am curious about the interface:
EPSON - P.I.C. - Printer Interface Cartridge - Commodore to Epson
Homewriter 10 - Comes with #8691A cartridge and cord.
Can this connect a BJC 4400 Canon printer to a C128?
The homewriter 10 was a dot matrix B&W printer. It has an
interchangeable interface slot (similar concept to the okimate
printers) so if you were a Commodore user you would buy it with the
commodore interface cartridge, PC, maybe a parallel one, etc.
From experience many printer manufacturers who made interfaces or
printers directly for Commodore were lacking in features compared to
3rd party interfaces like the Cardco G aseries or Xetec Supergraphix
lines (except I think Star's NX1000c was pretty good).
My goodness, Epson actually has a manual for it still on-line!

...hmm looks like it does only Commodore 1525 style 7-pin graphics.
As I said a 3rd party interface with a later model dot matrix printer
will produce better results and work with more programs.

Thanks for your input. I tought the cartridge worked like a XETEC. A
propriatry product would be of no use to me. I'm glad I lost the
auction.
