Actually, the JAMMA standard is strictly 56 pins. Quite a few older,
pre-JAMMA arcade machines used 44-pin connectors. Not sure if there were
different pitch 44-pin connectors either.

I make the distinction not to merely point out your error, but to prevent
someone from ordering a "JAMMA" socket and expecting a 44-pin connector to
arrive in the mail.
