Thanks! I'll look for it at my local Borders Bookstore.

The article in issue 89 is a big collector's guide to the Commodore
64, looking at some of the more desirable releases to track down and
with a rarities list. It was compiled by Mat "Mayhem" Allen.
Issue 90 is out in the UK tomorrow, with a gold-coloured cover
commemorating Zelda Ocarina of Time. Commodore 64 fans will be
interested in my "Making of Knightmare" - looking behind the scenes of
the TV series and the two computer game spin-offs.

While it is a UK magazine, there's more than enough US games focus in
the article, and it might give the US readers a little insight into
what games from this side are worth playing/collecting too...

I like this magazine and have most issues since #2 but it is an import and
at $9.99 (formerly $11.99) kind of expensive. I wish there was something
similar produced in the U.S. If there is I'm not aware of it...

Not a paper magazine, but then, they just take up room and weight.

I don't have an iPad and don't particulary want one (not for what they cost
anyway). Also, I would hate to be locked into reading it on the one device.
If they offered a pdf download or some other reasonable digital format for
$5 I might consider it.
Interestingly they advertise a U.S. subscription for ~$126/year. At B&N
with member discount + tax I would pay ~$124/year if I bought every issue.
I do appreciate being able to save on the space magazines take up though.
I have tons of Commodore 64 magazines (Gazette, Run, Commodore, etc.)
that I have been considering getting rid of since scans of most can
be easily found online now.

... "42? 7 and a half million years and all you can come up with is 42?!"
I don't much like the idea of being locked into a single reading device
either, but if the company is anything like Kindle, I am not locked in. They
have a record of my purchase, and if I switch devices, I should be able to
re-download each purchased issue for free. Kindles work that way. I have
Kindle software on my iPad, and my iPod, as well as my PC. Everything I've
purchased is available on all of those devices.
I have boxes of old Compute!'s Gazette, Compute, RUN and Ahoy!, and while
I'm sure scans of those are available online, there's nothing like holding
those little pieces of history in my hands. (Not to mention my GEOWORLD
mags, as well as my prized STATUS LINE issues from Infocom.)
