You can get an RCA to Coax Adapter at Radio Shack and that will do the
trick. Also if you have any trrift stores nearby you could look for a
Nintendo style Switchbox, they have a Coax in/ a lead out and about 6 to
10 feet of RCA wire to hook into your RF box. And the cool part about
those is it is automatic, when there is a signal from the vic-20 it
automatically switches to it. (=))

Minor point and possible minor correction - I have read here that the nintendo
switch boxes don't work with standard rf signals such as that found with the vic-20
because the nintendo switch boxes switch when the voltage is at a certain level.
Please correct me if I'm wrong as I like to learn but apparently a nintendo
automatic switch box won't work with a vic-20. Good luck and later!
Yeah;
Radio shack sells loads of that kind of stuff,
but I have found that the picture quality you get
is not near as good as with the boxes that came
with the atari/commodore.. Why not go for one of
those bipolar->coax adaptors?
or better yet, splice together the luma/chroma cables
from the monitor lead and use composite.
