At the end of Golan Klinger's marvelously illustrated "Howto" on
getting VICE for X11 onto Q-LR, at the PETSCII forum, a lone voice
calls out:

I'm having the same problem. OS X ver 10.4.10. Vice for X11 ver
1.21.

I'd contact Golan directly, or post in the PETSCII forum, if it didn't
take them forever and a day to activate my account. [No offense,
Jeff. I'm sure you're just busy reverse engineering Magic Desk I or
some-such.] ;-)

Usually in a *unix based OS ./configure, make, make install are fine
editions to install Vice.

With vice in Linux, you need FFmpeg and a couple other programs to go
with it. Wondering if your missing those key files and if those key
files work in macosx.
