Two up-coming versions of DirMenu

I am almost ready with DirMenu 1.6. Mostly, it will just contain a few last-minute optimizations, but the C64 version sets its own top of memory to $8000 so that it won't overwrite any program that loads at $8000. However, v. 2.0 will have the following features:
* C128: if run in 80-column mode, it will expand the display to the full screen and display up to 80 files.
* The title will be the name of the disk in Device 8.
* 1581 drive support will be added--I could use help to find information on the 1581.
* I will make it easier to edit the colors by using defined variables to indicate the color values.
If you have any other desired improvements or suggestions, please post here.

Oh, and I'm *still* looking for some optimizations I can implement to DirMenu. It is at https://sourceforge.net/projects/cc65extra/files/ui/.

You made me happy! :) I am about to start DirMenu 2.0 and am wondering about the basics of the 1581 disk drive. Can anybody tell me where to find the manual for it? Does anybody have any recommendations and/or requests for DirMenu 2?

I just did everything but the 1581 support. Help me out! Give me some suggestions on what you want to see in DirMenu!
