The best telnet client I've found for VT100 emulation is Prof.
Boris Cahan's TVT102, available from the STiK software pages at:
This is for STiK/STinG but may well work OK with MiNTnet if you
install GlueSTiK, which lets you use STiK/STinG clients with MiNTnet.
It's available from the author's pages at:
TVT102 is the only Atari telnet client that handles graphics
characters (boxes and lines etc) properly IME. The only other way I
know of getting these to work properly is to use the MiNTnet telnet
under X, but that means installing all of X just to get a decent
terminal emulation. Far easier to use STinG or GlueSTiK!

I believe that there are two programs which offer vt100 emulation
under MiNTnet: SCREEN (which is available at the UMich Atari Archive
site) and a vt100 version of TOSWIN (search for "tw100").

The normal BSD-telnet for MiNT/MiNTnet works fine with graphics and
colours in TosWin2.

Is TosWin2 the one with VT100 emulation? I tried an early version and
couldn't get it to run at all. Glad to know it works now, though I
stopped using MiNTnet some time ago. It would be the best/most obvious
option for someone with MiNtnet up and running in that case.
