If I remember correctly, YAHOO! shut down GeoCities somewhere around
the end of October.
I sincerely hope that all of the stuff that people had there was not
simply... lost. There are other options out there. The BIG problem
will be people who were taken unaware and did not realize that
GeoCities was 'going away' and don't have backups of their stuff. Such
a waste... the WayBack machine will help some, but... :-(
Be well,

Yes it closed 10/26/09 and they gave a notice back in july, I already
had the site backed up, not sure where I will put the new yet, cost is
low but I need things to get back to normal with the economy first.
I had a mule page, atari 8bit and ST info page, nothing there was
realy needed, just fan based

"From" is invalid. In order to answer directly, replace :
Myname= Jean-Luc ; Mysurname= Ceccoli ; myisp= wanadoo.fr
You could re-create your page on a *free* site at:
If you want to use things like PHP and MySQL, you can get web
space *fairly* cheaply hosted on a Linux box at:
They have fairly liberal policies on bandwidth per month, web site
disk usage, and such.

or you could use 110mb.com like I do. If you need MySQL also, I can
provide space and a db user, along with a "secure management frontend"
that you can use for writing php (or html) and uploads.
If you dont want to sign up that is..
or you could try www.000space.com (3 zeros) for similar "goodies",
without having to pay ($7) for db access. The only issue (as with most
free sites) is that your space will be blocked (from web-browsing) if
not used at least 3 times a month (3 web browser requests). I use a
"pull" page to get round these issues (an hidden iframe on my main
landing page - pulls 12-15 other websites)
Also FYI, Probe House Software is on one of the new 110mb servers (in
canada or the states, mine is in holland)

I may have a backup of TOSBOX site too, I will check
cheers
Paul
I have a copy of "Spectre GCR" and "Swiftel Photo" site taken around
shutdown date (no "TOSBOX", shame, my favourite GEM desktop)
