mc68000 absolute long addressing mode

I discovered in Digger that this mode must point to a even address.
I could not find this in a manual.
It has been a very long time ago I wrote that.
It wasnt in the original ST-Digger.
I want to do the right thing for Coldfire.
Does anybody know about this issue?
