I wouldn't worry too much about it. I used an sx-212 for years, and
never had a manual for it.
The SX-212 is (reasonably) hayes-compatible. Any "standard" hayes
commands such as ATDT, ATA, ATS0=1, etc. will work fine.
What I would recommend (and what I did:) find someone who has a manual
for ANY Hayes-compatible modem, and look at that. Most of the commands
will work.
Also, if you want to know what the lights on the case mean, it's the
same as other external modems. HS is high-speed (1200 in this case), AA
is auto-answer, CD is carrier detect, OH is off hook, RD and SD are
receive and send data, TR is terminal ready, and MR is modem ready...
(sorry if that's elementary knowledge, but I would have loved for
someone to tell me that when I had my SX-212, since it was my first "real"
modem (meaning faster than 300 baud...))
