a 1050 drive with US Doubler fitted
an Atari XE with 64K ram
I have no problems being able to read disks written on a PC using MyDos on the
Atari, but I can't find a way of getting the contents of an ATR image
transferred to a 'normal' disk using the Atari.
Any pointers would be much appreciated, many thanks!
Duncan
I've heard mention of a MS-Dos program called mule (not the game) that 'may'
be able to copy an ATR file to an atari fromated double density floppy on a
PC Floppy drive that 'may' be bootable of a US doubled 1050.
I have not had the equipment to try untill recently and i'm having fun
putting it all together between other projects so i can't say if it works or
not (or where to get it!) and proberbly won't be looking untill a back log
of other 'life stuff' gets sorted.
Anyone here care to coment on the program or any other methods not involving
the ritual slaughter of an SIO cable? ;0)

You could try using my WriteAtr program (available from my homepage
http://www.horus.com/~hias/atari/ ).
But note: it only works with double density (256 bytes per sector)
ATR images - most ATRs you find on the 'net are SD or ED.
so long,
