I recently downloaded the version of the ARMulator that was released by ARM
under the GPL. I have made a number of bugfixes to it and sent the results
back to ARM. Unfortunately, they are not sure if or when there will be a
new release. Therefore, I have made the diffs available from
ftp.barnet.ac.uk/pub/Acorn/armul.diff
(I'm aware that this is not an appropriate name, but this is the part of the
ftp server that I have access to.)
I will withdraw them once ARM release a new version under the GPL.

Alternatively, if ARM say that there will be no more relases under the GPL,
is there any interest in having a publically available version? I'm not
necessarily volunteering to maintain it, mind.

Sorry, I neglected to mention that the GPL release of the ARMulator is
available from ftp.cl.cam.ac.uk:/arm/gnu.

P.S. Has anyone got the gdb from there to work?
(gdb) target arm localhost:4567
localhost:4567: No such file or directory.

Haven't got it to *work*, but I can certainly download the
gdbarm-4.13.tar.gz file from within the .cam.ac.uk domain. If you still
have problems complain: maybe the permissions are wrong (though they
look OK in my session).

That little snippet I pasted was from within the gdb session, indicated by
the (gdb) prompt.. I wasn't reporting an errors when downloading. (which
would have had a ftp> prompt ;-)
