Hi!
The latest issue of Trains magazine, in a photo article about loading a steam engine onto a trailer, writes of using a wench to move the engine. I wonder if it's the same wench?

Different countries have different words for the same thing. I once told
a volunteer at our Fringe Festival "You can tell the technicians, they all
have flashlights and wrenches", and then later one of the artists is
telling a story and says "you can always tell the technicians, they have
torches and spanners". Everyone was talking English, but different words
used.

I know the first "wench" is just missing an "r", but I don't know how you
use even a "wrench" to move an engine. Oh wait, "winch".

You can deny it, but we already know of your interest in Orion wenches,
Apple or otherwise. ;-)

I think that should be parsed as (Wench and Chip) Puller - i.e, it is
for pulling wenches and chips.

I think generally they are just slid along the bar, no need for pullers.
