All,
My friend, who also designed and made a case for Koichi Nishida's component
video adapter, has not made a case for his SDISK II Disk ][-replacement SD
card drive.
He has done a multi-color version of the case, as well, with the top and
bottom pieces printed in separate colors. That version looks _very_ much
like an actual Disk ][, when the top is white, and the bottom black. That
is not currently listed on the page, but may be available if you make a
request.

That's pretty cool to see. I was exchanging emails with Koichi last week in regards to the UNISDISK that he's currently sold out of, and suggested that maybe he could relocate the capacitors on the unit to the underside of the PCB to make it easier to put a case on. He said he'll be doing that in the next batch, so I'm hoping someone with access to a printer takes a shot at making a design. The first model UNISDISK units would be a lot tougher to work with for a case, with the capacitors standing up next to the LCD display which would require it to be pretty deeply inset without basically building a wall around it. With the update, it should be a lot easier to leave a cutout for the cable and raise up a small section for the control buttons. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.
