I'm seeking some concrete information to fill in the sketchy details that I
have so far. I'd like to build a table of all of the Apple II and II Plus
motherboard revisions-- the difference between each revision from 0 to RFI.

Any sources?

Understanding the Apple II by Sather has some good stuff, particularly about the video changes.
Apple II reference manual has rev 0 to rev 1 differences, some of which were functional

I have some rev 0 to rev 1 notes on my website
http://www.willegal.net/appleii/appleii-recreation.htm
http://www.willegal.net/appleii/appleii-pcb.htm

Note that there were some cosmetic changes made during the rev 0 production run (not all rev 0 boards are exactly the same). I would expect that this might be true of other revisions. At least some of the rev 3 boards, if not all, had an error in the artwork, requiring a wire on the back side of the PCB to be installed during production.

Regards,
Mike W.

I'll take a look. I hope that it covers all of the revisions beyond Rev 1.
Yes, your site has been helpful for the Rev 0 to Rev 1 changes.

The Apple II Circuit Description by Winston D Gaylor might be worth
looking at. It has a section on revisions

Unfortunately, the details about changes in Revisions 2 though 6 are
murky to non-existent in that book. As is the info about Revisions
between 7 and "RFI". According to Sather, there seems to have been a
Rev. 8 and/or 9 at least, adding an additional shut-off for the color
carrier in text mode to prevent it "creeping" through into very
sensitive monitors. Also it's not clear from the book whether any
further changes were made between the first "RFI" board and the end of
production.

So in those areas you'll have to find other sources.

(I had mailed this by accident before posting it here. Sorry.)
