I am digging my IIc collection out of storage and trying to work out what is what. I have an Apple memory expansion card that was in a carry case with my IIc+ but I vaguely remember having stalled it in my IIc ROM 3 machine. It is part number 670-0026A.

Does anyone know which IIc this belongs in?

I'm very new to collecting apple IIs, focusing in the IIc, and my understanding is the ROM 3 & 4 released models had the expansion slot on them. I think 1986 onwards. So it definitely would work on them.

Off the top of my head, don't know if the plus had it also, but I imagine so, unless it was released with1Meg already installed.

If you decide you don't want it, I am chasing one for my collection.....just thought I'd mention that! ;)

It belongs in the memory expansion models (ROMs 3 and 4, part A2S4100, with the memory expansion connector - A2S4000 does not have it (but, motherboards could be swapped between the two, and Apple even advertised that dealers could do a motherboard swap when they advertised the memory expansion board, so don't trust the part number))

Or, if a PAL has been changed on it, it will also work on the IIc Plus. (Apple apparently directed users to third-parties for IIc Plus memory expansion, though, but the PAL was the only real change the third parties made.)
