Hi There,
From my point of view, this is the most beautiful diskette I've ever
seen. It is located @ http://www.brutaldeluxe.fr/public/thegoldenspike.jpeg
(1MB file)

Shall we launch a contest?

Woah. That-is-awesome. It's got my vote for best looking 5.25" floppy.

That one looks hard to beat due to the arrow design on the jacket. I
don't think I ever saw another one that had a design on that area.

A favourite of mine is Adventure Construction Set. I won't describe it
-- this way I will be encouraged to scan it and list it here.

D'oh, I replied to this but my answer seemed to disappear. Apologies
if it shows twice or in the wrong topic.

What I said was -- I think that disk is hard to beat, due to the
design on the jacket. I don't think I ever saw one with a design there
before.

A personal fave of mine is Adventure Construction Set. I'll scan it
and share it here when I have.

As a big railroad fan I'd like to examine the contents of the
disk. I looked on Asimov but it doesn't seem to be there nor in the
directory where the JPEG is.

Nice pickup !!

The Bilestoad had a very nice gold disk. This was probably the most
attractive Apple floppy I have seen .... until I saw The Golden Spike.

Ha. Even the picture came out a little shitty. I used to rag on Bonus
disks back in the day, but surprisingly, more of them work than my 3M or
Datalife disks.

Hey, they even have hub rings--that's a bonus! ;-)

Ha ha! They were one of my favorite brands!
The worst was a box I bought at the Orlando Faire, so I could copy a bunch of programs at the show... one disk didn't even make it home. The others started failing within a week, and I had to make backup copies of them all.

They were Opus brand disks...
